  • Breaking news: An arrest has been made in the stray-bullet killing of Spelman student Jasmine Lynn. Atlanta Police are holding a news conference at 1:30 this afternoon to announce the new developments. Lynn, a 19-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was gunned down last month on the Clark Atlanta University campus as she walked back to her Spelman residence hall. People arguing on a nearby street opened fire, and a stray bullet hit her in the chest on the 200 block of James P. Brawley Drive.

  • A Tucker mechanic is murdered by a customer arguing with him over a repair job. Accused gunman Troy Johnson is jailed without bond, charged with walking into the European Autocare Center on LaVista Road and shooting George Tyrones.

  • Atlanta Police say A. J. Jewell, the ex-fiance of Real Atlanta Housewife Kandi Burruss, may have gotten into a fight at the Body Tap strip club because he felt he wasn't getting his business props. A detective says Jewell and his accused killer, Frederick Robinson, had ongoing tension between them, as Jewell--who was investing in the club--thought he should have been given more respect. The men got into a fight Friday night, and Jewell died of massive head injuries. Robinson is charged with voluntary manslaughter.

  • Magic Johnson Cinema at Greenbriar Mall is about to show its last movie. The 12-screen complex closes Sunday after 13 years. Johnson no longer owns it; AMC acquired it after its merger with Loews in 2006. Johnson also owned a TGI Friday's near Greenbriar, but closed it in 2004.

  • The first H1N1 vaccines are in Georgia. The nasal sprays have been delivered to health departments in Carroll, Coweta, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale counties, and swine flu vaccinations could begin by week's end. The first nose mists are expected to go to children ages two to four, and their caregivers.

  • In KISS news about your money: there's some good news on the home heating front. Natural gas customers bills are expected to be 10% to 30% lower this winter, because gas supplies are at record levels.

  • David Letterman jokes that he's getting the cold shoulder from everyone after confessing to female staffers: "I got into the car this morning, and the navigation lady wasn't speaking to me," he said on his show Monday night. Letterman apologized to his wife, although he points out at the affairs happened before they got married in March. Letterman told viewers last week that he was being blackmailed to the tune of $2 million by a CBS 48 Hours producer; Joe Halderman has pleaded not guilty to extortion and posted bond.

Letterman vowed to repair his relationship with Regina Lasko, saying she had been "horribly hurt by my behavior." The 62-year-old began dating Lasko in 1986, and they have a five-year-old son. Letterman's apologies to his Mrs. and his staff translated into big ratings for Late Show: the 4.2 Nielsen numbers were bigger than anything NBC aired that night.

"This is only phase one of the scandal," said Letterman. "Phase two: Next week I go on 'Oprah' and sob.''

  • The KISS 104.1 weather forecast: mostly cloudy, mild, with a high of 70.
